Cookie and storage policy

1. What these technologies are

Cookies are small text files stored by a website. Local storage keeps preferences in your browser. Similar technologies can remember a session, provide a requested feature or help diagnose problems.

2. Technologies we use

• Clerk authentication: cookies and storage needed to create, secure and maintain your sign-in session. Duration depends on the session and Clerk configuration.
• Interface preferences: a sidebar preference cookie lasts for up to seven days.
• Local preferences: the selected choir, event filters and programme display choices remain until replaced or cleared in your browser.
• Sentry: receives limited request, error and performance information to diagnose failures. Authentication and cookie headers are removed before reporting.
• Cloudflare Web Analytics: provides aggregated page usage and performance metrics without cookies, local storage or fingerprinting visitors.

These technologies are used to provide, secure and maintain the service, not for third-party advertising. We do not use advertising cookies or analytics that build profiles of individual visitors.

3. Maps and embedded media

Google Maps is loaded when map and venue features are used. YouTube or Spotify may be loaded when a user-selected recording is displayed. Those providers receive technical information such as IP address and browser details and may use their own cookies or storage under their policies. Avoid loading an embed if you do not want to contact that provider.

4. Your controls

You can block or delete cookies and local storage in browser settings. Blocking authentication or essential storage may stop sign-in or other features from working. You can deny browser location permission without preventing manual venue search.
